Introduction
Chrome bronze plate has the advantages of high stress relaxation resistance, good thermal stability, good electrical conductivity, good corrosion resistance, and good electroplating performance. The addition of chromium, on the one hand, obviously increases the recrystallization temperature and thermal strength of the alloy; on the other hand, the electrical conductivity of copper decreases slightly. The conductivity of solution treated chrome bronze rods is 45% IACS, which rises to 80% IACS after aging treatment. The softening temperature of aged chrome bronze is 400°C, which is twice that of cold-worked copper.
