Silver-containing anaerobic copper is a high purity copper that is immune to hydrogen embrittlement. It is used in applications requiring high electrical and thermal conductivity. A small amount of gold and silver increases the softening temperature of pure copper, and its mechanical properties are higher than pure copper at high temperature.
