Introduction
Silver-containing pure copper rods contain silver, and adding a small amount of silver to pure copper can increase the softening temperature (recrystallization temperature) and creep strength, while rarely reducing the electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity and plasticity of copper. The combined use of silver and copper has no effect of age hardening, and cold work hardening is generally used to improve the strength.
